Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Upon arrival in Lima you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Day 2: Fly to Cusco. Free Afternoon

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

The city of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire is one of the most enchanting destinations in Peru. Situated in the Peruvian Andes, Cusco is surrounded by awesome mountains which perfectly compliment the blue sky and white clouds. As you explore the captivating colonial centre, marvel at Cusco’s art and architecture which offer a glimpse into her fascinating past. Overnight in Cusco. (B)

Day 3: Half Day Excursion of Cusco City

Today you take a tour of Cusco’s colonial centre and nearby sites. You will visit impressive Cusco Cathedral which dominates the city’s main square, the old Inka temple of Koricancha and the fortress complex of Sacsayhuaman. Also visit the outlying sites of Qenko and Puca Pucara.

Included in your programme is the Cuzco General Tourist Ticket which permits entrance to many sites around Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Overnight in Cusco. (B)

Day 4: Full Day Sacred Valley Excursion

Today you will enjoy a full day tour of the Urubamba or Sacred Valley, so named due to the number of sacred sites established by the Inca civilization. First stop will be the colourful, bustling Indigenous Market at Pisac where locals congregate to buy and sell during the main market days on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. In Ollantaytambo you will be taken on a walking excursion of the stunning Inka ruins which overlook the town below. Overnight in Cusco. (B, L)

Day 5: Train to Aguas Calientes. Machu Picchu Private Excursion

Today you will take a train to Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu town, and the closest access point to the sacred Inca city. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes you will be transferred by bus to Machu Picchu for your guided tour of the site.

The enigmatic complex of Machu Picchu, the most important and beautiful legacy of the Inca, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is also included among the New Seven Wonders of the World. Return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco. (B)

Let us know if you’d like to stay the night in Aguas Calientes so you can re-visit Machu Picchu the next day. We’ll design your programme accordingly.

Day 6: Fly to Lima. Lima by Night Excursion

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

This evening’s excursion shows in detail the impressive Historical Centre of Lima by night, presenting its most emblematic attractions. You will be able to take unforgettable pictures of the city’s illuminated monuments. Overnight in Lima. (B)

Day 7: Fly to Puerto Iguazu

Morning transfer from the hotel to the airport. Today you will fly from Lima to Foz do Iguassu. Overnight in Foz do Iguassu. (B)

Day 8: Half Day Excursion Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

A half day excursion to the Argentine side of the falls. We will visit the three main paths: the upper and lower paths as well as the Devil´s Throat. It will be possible to enjoy impressive views of the falls from different perspectives. Upper Path:  A 45min walk during which we see the Two Sisters, Bosseti, Adam and Eve, Bernabe Mendez, Mbigua and San Martin falls from the upper part. Lower Path: A 1.5hr walk during which we have a view of the falls from right in the centre of the action where you’ll likely get a bit wet! Devil’s Throat: A small train will take us along the upper part of the Iguazu River where we find the balcony facing the most spectacular view of the Devil’s Throat. Overnight in Foz do Iguassu. (B)

Day 9: Half Day Excursion Iguazu Falls (Brazil). Fly to Rio de Janeiro

Today you will visit the Brazilian side of spectacular Iguazu Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. This is where the almost 3km wide Iguazu River drops over the edge of 80m high basalt cliffs. You will gaze down on this stunning natural spectacle from the viewing platforms connected by glass-sided elevator.

After your tour, transfer out to the airport. Fly to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. (B)

Day 10: Full Day Excursion of Rio de Janeiro

Today you will be taken on an unforgettable tour of the “Marvellous City” which includes the most iconic symbols of the city: the statue of “Christ the Redeemer” and the Sugarloaf Mountain.

Take a scenic route along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon on the way to Corcovado hill. A train will take you up the mountain from the top of which stares Christ the Redeemer, chosen as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The tour continues along Rio’s famous beaches on the way to the peninsula at the entrance to Guanabara Bay. A two-stage cable car will take you up Urca Hill and the Sugarloaf Mountain (365m) from where you’ll have uninterrupted, spectacular views of downtown Rio, Corcovado and Copacabana Beach. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. (B, L)

Day 11: Transfer to Buzios

Today you will be transferred to Buzios. Overnight in Buzios. (B)

Days 12 & 13: Free Days in Buzios

Two days at your leisure to enjoy this idyllic retreat. Overnight in Buzios. (B)

Day 14: Airport Transfer

Today you will be transferred to the airport to meet your international flight. (B)
