What is the most appropriate type of luggage to bring?
As a general rule, the less luggage you bring with you, the better We strongly recommend bringing a backpack or duffel bag, as suitcases can be cumbersome and difficult to store. Suitcases with wheels may not work well on dirt or cobblestone roads.
What clothing should I pack for one of your adventures?
We always recommend packing as light as possible however the specific requirements for your tour will vary widely depending on where and when you are traveling.
When is the best time to visit?
The answer depends on which part of the landmass you’re visiting. That’s because there are distinctly different climatic regions throughout.
What languages do you speak?
All members of our staff are bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English.
Is the water safe to drink en-route and what is the general standard of hygiene?
We err on the side of caution on all of our tours and advise travelers to drink only bottled water. This is easy to obtain everywhere. The standard of hygiene in Latin America is surprisingly high along the entire route.
Should I bring my Credit Card/Debit Card?
You can of course bring both credit cards and debit cards. When shopping and paying for meals not included within your package, you are advised to pay with cash. Many restaurants across Latin America have Visa and MasterCard capabilities and welcome you to pay for your meal with a credit card.
Where and how do I start booking my tour?
After looking through our website and deciding more or less what destination and type of vacation you feel would suit you best, you may contact us. Take note of the fact that the more detailed your request is, the more detailed our response will be. You can contact us by phone or email.
Do you handle group reservations?
We have a lot of experience in organizing group itineraries. It will be our pleasure to accommodate your request.
Can you create custom itineraries?
If you want a tailor made holiday, we can help you plan an exciting trip. You pay no extra charges or fees for our services. We put our local knowledge to work for you and help make your Latin America vacation the best it can be. Call or e-mail us and get help from the experts.
Can I make changes to the packages or itineraries I see online?
The packages and itineraries on this website can be modified based upon your preferences.
When will I have to pay for my vacation?
Once you are happy with the itinerary we have created for you, a non refundable deposit of 10% per person will be due. Full payment is due 60 days prior to travel, (or on reservation if travel is within 60 days).
Please let us know at time of booking if you wish to pay by credit card, paypal or bank transfer. If paying by credit card, we require a credit card authorization form be filled out.
