Day 1: Arrival in La Paz
Upon arrival in La Paz you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in La Paz.
Day 2: Half Day City & Tiwanaku Private tour
Today you will take a half-day tour visiting Plaza Murillo to see the Government Palace, the local Cathedral and the Congress building. From here continue to the Gold Museum, San Francisco Church and the biggest handicraft market in town known as the “Witches’ Market”. After the inner city, you will be taken on a guided tour of the pre-Inca ruins of Tiwanaku, a UNESCO world heritage site. Explore the ruins and visit the famous Puma Punku site. Overnight in La Paz. Day 3: Lake Titicaca Excursion (Bolivia)
This morning you head north for Lake Titicaca. Drive across Andean high plains to Lake Titicaca where you will cross the narrow strait of Tiquina which separates the lake’s northern and southern sections. Take a motor boat to the southern tip of Isla del Sol where you will be taken on guided tour of Pilkocaina Temple, the Inka Staircase and the Fountain. Enjoy stunning views of Andes before taking the boat back to the lake shore. Overnight in Copacabana. (B)
Day 4: Copacabana to Puno
This morning you will visit the Virgin of Copacabana, the most important religious sanctuary in Bolivia which attracts thousands of pilgrims every year.
Transfer by bus via the Bolivia/Peru border to the Peruvian city of Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Overnight in Puno (B)
Day 5: Full Day Lake Titicaca Excursion (Peru)
Today you have a guided tour to visit the floating Uros Islands and Taquile Island on Lake Titicaca. Uros islands are made of dried totora reeds which provide home, sustenance and transportation for their residents. These floating islands are the home of the Uros tribe, one which pre-dates the Inca civilization. In the afternoon you will have a buffet lunch on Taquile Island and later explore some of the Inka ruins there. Overnight in Puno. (B, L)
Day 6: Sightseeing Coach Excursion from Puno to Cusco
Today you will take a First Class coach to Cusco. Along the way an English-speaking guide will lead tours to the decorated chapel of Andahuaylillas, spectacular lookout at Raqchi and Inka ruins at Pukara Museum. Enroute you will stop for a Buffet Lunch in Sicuani village. Upon arrival in Cusco you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco. (B, L)
Day 7: Half Day Excursion of Cusco City
Today you take a tour of Cusco’s colonial centre and nearby sites. You will visit impressive Cusco Cathedral which dominates the city’s main square, the old Inka temple of Koricancha and the fortress complex of Sacsayhuaman. Also visit the outlying sites of Qenko and Puca Pucara.
Included in your programme is the Cuzco General Tourist Ticket which permits entrance to many sites around Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Overnight in Cusco. (B)
Day 8: Full Day Sacred Valley Excursion
Today you will enjoy a full day tour of the Urubamba or Sacred Valley, so named due to the number of sacred sites established by the Inca civilization. First stop will be the colourful, bustling Indigenous Market at Pisac where locals congregate to buy and sell during the main market days on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. In Ollantaytambo you will be taken on a walking excursion of the stunning Inka ruins which overlook the town below. Overnight in Cusco. (B, L)
Day 9: Train to Aguas Calientes. Machu Picchu Private Excursion
Today you will take a train to Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu town, and the closest access point to the sacred Inca city. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes you will be transferred by bus to Machu Picchu for your guided tour of the site.
The enigmatic complex of Machu Picchu, the most important and beautiful legacy of the Inca, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is also included among the New Seven Wonders of the World. Return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco. (B)

Day 10: Free Day in Cusco
Today can be spent exploring the cobbled stone streets of this ancient imperial city. Take time to enjoy the colourful markets and stunning colonial centre. Overnight in Cusco. (B)
Day 11: Airport Transfer
Today you will be transferred to the airport to meet your international flight. (B)
