Day 1: Arrival in Quito (Wednesday)
Arrive in Quito and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Quito.
Day 2: Full Day Excursion of the City
A full day visit of colonial Quito, the largest historical centre in the Americas, elected the first UNESCO World Heritage site in 1978. During the excursion you will visit the Plaza de la Independencia, Parque Alameda, Church of San Francisco and the Middle of the World Equator Monument. Overnight in Quito. (B)
Day 3: Fly to the Galapagos Islands. Commence 4 Day / 3 Night Galapagos Cruise (Friday)
Today you will fly from Quito to the spectacular Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival, transfer to your cruise vessel and commence your trip of a life time!
La Pinta is a luxury yacht which accommodates 48 guests. Its comfortable cabins are some of the biggest in the Galapagos and feature massive panoramic windows. Many of the cabins are connected, making it a perfect option for families. The wonderful interior and exterior common areas provide fantastic views of the islands, so you won’t miss a thing, no matter where you are on deck.
Delicious meals are provided by the team of chefs who operate from the ship’s galley. You will be kept up to date about your itinerary by your host and informed of the many fascinating aspects of Galapagos’ wildlife by your naturalist guides.
During the cruise you will visit several islands where you will have many opportunities to observe the famously diverse Galapagos wildlife including: giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, lava lizards, sea lions, Darwin’s finch, land iguanas and marine iguanas.
Naturalist guides will accompany you on daily shore excursions to explore and explain the significance of the history, biodiversity and evolution of the Galapagos Islands. Swimming and snorkelling opportunities abound with the chance to spot sea lions, sea turtles, dolphins, colourful reef-dwelling fish and perhaps even penguins. (B, L, D)
Days 4-5: Galapagos Cruise

Day 6: Disembark Cruise. Fly to Guayaquil
Pre-departure sightseeing or excursion. Disembarkation from cruise. Fly to Guayaquil and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Guayaquil. (B)
Day 7: Fly to Lima
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.
Day 8: Fly to Cusco. Free Afternoon
This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
The city of Cusco, the old capital of the Inca Empire is one of the most enchanting destinations in Peru. Situated in the Peruvian Andes, Cusco is surrounded by awesome mountains which perfectly compliment the blue sky and white clouds. As you explore the captivating colonial centre, marvel at Cusco’s art and architecture which offer a glimpse into her fascinating past. Overnight in Cusco. (B)
Day 9: Half Day Excursion of Cusco City
Today you take a tour of Cusco’s colonial centre and nearby sites. You will visit impressive Cusco Cathedral which dominates the city’s main square, the old Inka temple of Koricancha and the fortress complex of Sacsayhuaman. Also visit the outlying sites of Qenko and Puca Pucara.
Included in your programme is the Cusco General Tourist Ticket which permits entrance to many sites around Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Overnight in Cusco. (B)
Day 10: Full Day Sacred Valley Excursion
Today you will enjoy a full day tour of the Urubamba or Sacred Valley, so named due to the number of sacred sites established by the Inca civilization. First stop will be the colourful, bustling Indigenous Market at Pisac where locals congregate to buy and sell during the main market days on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. In Ollantaytambo you will be taken on a walking excursion of the stunning Inka ruins which overlook the town below. Overnight in Ollantaytambo. (B, L)
Day 11: Train to Aguas Calientes. Machu Picchu Private Excursion
Today you will take a train to Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu town, and the closest access point to the sacred Inca city. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes you will be transferred by bus to Machu Picchu for your guided tour of the site.
The enigmatic complex of Machu Picchu, the most important and beautiful legacy of the Inca, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is also included among the New Seven Wonders of the World. Return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco. (B)

Day 12: Fly to Lima.
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima to meet your international connection. Tour ends upon arrival in Lima. (B)
