How to Book

At Absolute Latin America, our promise is to arrange for you the best tour of this incredible continent. All our staff members have spent time here living, working and traveling. Our travel consultants are ready to assist with their local knowledge and expertise.

Contact and tailoring your tour

On our website, you can complete the contact form located on the right side of the screen. Alternatively, you can dial our toll free number in America, Canada or the United Kingdom and speak to one of our consultants.

Once you have contacted one of our travel consultants, he or she will discuss your preferences for itinerary, accommodations and activities.

Our consultants will ask you which parts of Latin America you are interested in and how much time you want to spend in each of these places. You can also inform us about the number of people accompanying you on the trip and the kind of accommodations you would like. We will be sure to tailor your trip to include your areas of interest.

If you are not sure about any aspect of your trip, don’t worry, as our consultants will be more than willing to advise you in this regard. After you have made the initial plans for you trip, you can continue to discuss with the consultant and make necessary adjustments and alterations until it suits you perfectly.

Usually, our trips contain hotels and transport within South America. Whether you are opting for private tours or group tours, you will always be accompanied by a professional guide. All breakfasts and some lunches or dinners are generally included in the tour.

How to book

When you have agreed to go ahead with a particular itinerary, you will be required to pay an initial deposit in order to get things rolling. This initial deposit is usually about twenty five percent of the total tour cost, though the exact amount will depend on your tour specifics. Please see our Payment Options page for information about the different payment methods.

In order for us to make your bookings, you will also be required to submit details about your international flights including the name of the airline, departure date and time, and flight number. This is needed in order to synchronize our services with your arrival. Please also submit copies of your passport which will enable us to make necessary arrangements such as booking flight and train tickets.

When we have received the initial deposit and the relevant information, we will give you an official receipt of your payment and begin making arrangements for your trip.

Tour Confirmation

Within seven to ten working days of booking, you will receive an e-mail from us confirming your tour program. The exact duration of time will depend on the nature and intricacy of the tour. The itinerary will show all the confirmed arrangements based on the program purchased. Nevertheless, the confirmed itinerary may differ in a few small aspects due to availability of certain accommodations and services. These changes will be minor and will not affect or hinder your over-all itinerary.

Before you go

After booking, we will also give you an information pack which will contain all the general information about traveling to Latin America including what to pack, money and necessary documents.

Itemized itinerary

Two weeks prior to tour departure you will receive an Itemized Itinerary containing 24hr emergency contact numbers, hotel and local operator contact details, all flight information and helpful pre-departure information.

On tour

Once on tour in your destination, our representatives will ensure your trip is conducted as planned. In addition to that, you will have a 24 hour emergency number in case you encounter any contingencies.
